"As part of my first-year college curriculum, we’re required to take a year-long interdisciplinary course. Rivers has been incredibly helpful in preparing me for this, as the course is all about connecting different subjects and applying them to our own identities and the world around us.

I've been able to reference ideas we explored in Rivers, like the concept of "sense of place," and use skills we developed, such as collaborating effectively on group projects and presentations. Honestly, I’ve found that Rivers has been more beneficial to my first year of college than I ever expected."
